Bali: Paradise on earth

Light blue sky, dark blue sea. Dark green forest, pale green rice paddies. Tropical fruit, orchids and lilies. The silence of temples. If you want to relax in beauty and silence, head to Bali. Bali remains unaffected by the internal strife in Indonesia and has not yet been ruined by throngs of tourists.
Göğün açık mavisi, denizin koyu mavisi. Ormanın koyu yeşili, pirinç tarlalarının açık yeşili... Tropik meyvelerin, orkidelerin, zambakların deli renkleri... Binlerce yıllık inancın biçimlendirdiği tapınakların sessizliği. İçinizi arındırmak, güzelliğe bakmak, sessizliği dinlemek, istiyorsanız Bali'ye gidin...

An exhibition of unknown lifestyles

Life revolves around the temples and belief guides social life. People worship through music, dance and theatre. Every Banjar (village) has its own ceremonial space and gamelan orchestra with percussion, gongs, xylophone, drums and bamboo flutes. Bali has a strong dance tradition. All dances are offered to the gods. All girls dream of being a Legong dancer. In Barong dances, the mythical struggle between good (the Barong) and evil (the Rangda) is portrayed. Neither win.

The call of nature

The island has a black sand beach, a tropical planting area, a jungle and a white sand beach. Life revolves around the rice paddies that yield year round crops. There are duck shepherds: little boys with woven triangular hats. The ducks eat the harmful bugs and seaweed. The rice god is Dewi Shri.If you like new experiences, take a two-hour lesson, strap on a tank and go diving among the coral reefs filled with tropical fish.

Life and religion

94 percent of the population are Hindu-Dharma. Religion governs their life. The main temples are called Pura, the second-degree ones Pura Paseh, village temples Pura Desa and temples of death Pura Dalem. You have to climb up to visit them, and then walk down winding green roads to the bottom. Enter Pura Taman Ayun by red stone gates leading to a wide courtyard. There are reed roofed domed temples and water lilies floating in the ponds. The Royal Temple is visited by thousands of locals and the moat around it represents the ocean. Ulun Danu lies next to Beratan Lake with its mystical mists. Tanah Lot stands on top of rocks rising from the beach. Drink ice-cold coconut milk in the public garden and watch the sun set into the sea. Visit the 11th century Pura Ulu Watu build on a rock on the southern tip of the island. You don't have to be a mystic to be moved by this spot. Only the hundreds of thieving monkeys can jar your from your reverie. Bamboo homes. Hanging bridges, lily ponds, lotuses, palm trees. Mortal man is happiest in Bali.

Nüfusun yüzde 94'ü Hinduizm-Budizm karışımı Hindu-Dharma dinini benimsemiş. Balililer'in hayatı tapınakların çevresinde geçiyor. İnançları sosyal yaşamlarını belirliyor: Kutsal görevler, ruhsal bağlar. Ana tapınaklar; Pura, ikinci derece önemli olanlar; Pura Paseh, köy tapınakları Pura Desa, ölüm tapınağı, Pura Dalem. Tapınakları ziyaret etmek başlı başına bir deneyim. Önce tırmanıp, ziyaret sonrası yeşil yollardan kıvrıla kıvrıla iniyoruz. Yol kenarlarında meyve satan kadınlar. Bambu evler. Asma köprüler, göletler. Nilüfer havuzları, aşk çiçeği lotus. Palmiyeler... Bali'de ölümlülerin yaşayabileceği kadar mutlu zaman geçirebilirsiniz.
